Ákos joined the partnership in 2009 and heads both the Real Estate and Tax groups in our Budapest office. He focuses on the domestic and cross-border real estate transactions, including leveraged financings of real estate acquisitions.
He has advised leading investors and financial institutions on large real estate transactions in Hungary. Ákos has structured, reviewed and negotiated numerous lease and purchase contracts for retail, industrial and office facilities.
Ákos also offers international and domestic tax advice, including: real estate taxation; tax structuring of complex transactions; EU compliance-related tax matters; the taxation of corporations and corporate reorganisations; the taxation of operative and financial leasing transactions; and VAT matters. He advises clients on the taxation aspects of corporate restructuring and represents clients in tax-related lawsuits. He also has extensive experience in transfer pricing.
