Cormac is director of taxation for Mason Hayes&Curran and advises on all aspects of business taxation for domestic and international clients. For domestic clients, Cormac's particular areas of focus include the effective structuring of business investments, real estate based transactions and maximising shareholder value for clients, including cash extraction. For international clients, his main areas of focus include inward investment to Ireland and the use of international tax planning opportunities involving Ireland. He also has a substantial practice concerning mergers and acquisitions and corporate reorganisations.

 Cormac obtained his primary degree from Trinity College Dublin (BBS Business Studies) and a Master's degree in Business Studies from University College Dublin. He is an associate of the Irish Taxation Institute and a fellow of the Chartered Association of Certified Accountants. Cormac is a member of the Taxation Committee of the Incorporated Law Society of Ireland and is also on the council of the Irish Proshare Association.

Cormac has lectured on taxation topics to both of these professional bodies and is a frequent speaker on tax related topics to trade and professional organisations. Cormac is also a contributor to the Irish chapter of the International Expatriate Employment Handbook.
